Time to put on your dementia glasses and see some common reactions through the eyes of a person living with dementia. For each thought you might have, match it to what might be going on for a person living with dementia. By matching these thoughts, you’ll start to shift your perspective, from confusion or frustration, to understanding and empathy.
Instructions
- On the left side, you’ll see thoughts that someone might have when they notice a person experiencing common dementia symptoms.
- On the right side, you’ll see the thoughts of a person living with dementia as they go about daily life.
- Drag and drop to connect each person’s perspective, matching common reactions with the experiences of people living with dementia.
To complete this activity, you must get 100%, but don’t worry – you can try it as many times as you need.
