Yoga is one of the oldest health systems in civilization that remains accessible to people of all ages. Contrary to popular belief, extreme flexibility and extraordinary strength are not required to enjoy the benefits of yoga. Research has shown that yoga practices positively affect cellular aging, mobility, balance, emotional well-being, and cognitive health. They can also improve the quality of life for people living with dementia.
In this seminar, you will be introduced to yoga philosophy and basic techniques for supporting healthy aging. The seminar will be conducted online from a yoga studio. Please wear comfortable, non-restricting clothing to participate in a gentle yoga practice.
