Everyone affected by dementia experiences it differently. A person living with dementia, a care partner, a health professional, and a neighbour may all see the same situation in very different ways. Sometimes, we may even misinterpret each other’s experiences.

By listening to these different perspectives, we can build greater empathy and understanding. And when we bring those perspectives together, we can move toward a shared vision: creating communities where people living with dementia and those around them can all live well.
